Mark is a transformational leader with over 25 years of general management operating experience in strategy, P&L management, sales, marketing, r&d/innovation, operations and talent building. Mark is a proven CEO and operator in the consumer packaged goods/private equity space with a track record of delivering step-change sales and EBITDA growth. Mark is a founder of MGMT3D and currently serves in board member and advisory roles for CPG/Private Equity concerns.
Mark has the unique ability to work with entrepreneurs/founders, private equity firms, middle market companies and large public corporations to develop and implement strategies for accelerated growth. He combines his strategic insights with a strong executional playbook to outline a roadmap for growth and then make it a reality.
He recently served as CEO of Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP for three years partnering with TPG Growth private equity firm leading the snack company to dramatic growth culminating in its acquisition by ConAgra Foods in 2017 and a successful integration in 2018. Prior to Angie’s, Mark served as the CEO of Anne’s House of Nuts partnering with Gryphon Investor’s private equity firm leading Flagstone Foods to a successful sale to Treehouse Foods in 2014. He has also served in many leadership roles with ConAgra & Kraft Foods from 1991-2010 and worked with KPMG from 1987-1990.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Management from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
